CAMDEN MCATEE "Bus or Cam"

September 2016 Cam (Buster) McAtee, 56, passed away on Thursday, September 22. He was born in Washington, DC to Florence and Camden McAtee.

Cam graduated from The Rochester Institute of Technology and spent the better part of his career working in the print industry. He married his soulmate, Tina (Jensen), on December 31st, 1991 and together they had two beautiful children, Rae Marie (22) and Riley Tanner (23).

Cam had a passion for sports, which he shared with Riley. A typical Sunday in the McAtee house would consist of boisterous cheering and arm-chair coaching (particularly toward his beloved Washington Redskins) from old and young alike. Cam especially loved golf, fantasy football, poker and attending Cal football games. Cam's affection for his favorite four legged friends, American Eskimos Nanook and Keyush, came from the love he and Rae shared for animals. He swelled with pride whenever he talked about his future veterinarian for a daughter, as evidenced by the way he smiled whenever he bragged about her. Cam's greatest joy was his family. He was a loving father and husband and will continue to watch over his wife and children with each accomplishment and milestone that lay ahead of them. Cam will be forever remembered for his quick wit, smiling eyes and robust laugh. Although he chose to end his pain here on Earth, we know he is at peace now and forever.

Cam is survived by his wife of 24 years, Tina McAtee; children: Riley McAtee and Rae McAtee; siblings: Ett McAtee, Ann Middleton and Bill McAtee and mother-in-law Geraldine Jensen. Cam was loved and will be missed by many.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Whitney Oaks Golf Course, 2305 Clubhouse Dr, Rocklin, CA 95765, Thursday, September 29th from 4:00pm 7:00pm.
